Toronto Christmas Market<\/a> takes over the Distillery Historic District for another year of holiday magic.\u00a0Now in its eighth season, the market has quickly become one of the city\u2019s favourite holiday traditions. From boasting one of the city’s largest real Christmas trees, magical lighting and seasonal decor to more than 350 stage performances, unique and locally handcrafted products and, of course, Santa and his elves, there’s plenty to take in on a winter’s day.<\/p>\nTake in the sparkling Christmas light canopies, traditional music and carols, dance performances and family-friendly activities like Santa’s House, a ferris wheel, carousel and life-sized gingerbread house.<\/p>\n
Foodies can taste traditional European street-style food as well as Canadian holiday treats and sip on cold and warm brews in the beer gardens.<\/p>\n
The Toronto Christmas Market runs November 16 to December 23, 2017.<\/p>\n
Like we advised last year, go during the week to avoid the weekend crush (that is, unless crowds are your thing).<\/p>\n
