Calling all ros\u00e9 lovers: the Ros\u00e9 Picnic,\u00a0Canada’s largest ros\u00e9 festival, is back for its second year!<\/p>\n
Today, August 11th, the newly-restored\u00a0Stanley Barracks at Hotel X Toronto will be transformed into a sea of pink and white as 3,500 guests soak up summer on the lush grounds.\u00a0Ros\u00e9 lovers will enjoy\u00a0unobstructed views of the city skyline and\u00a0dozens of ros\u00e9s all day paired with delicious food offerings from Chef Mark McEwan’s signature restaurants.<\/p>\n

From 11am to 11pm, the grounds will be filled with a sea of pink with over 3,000 of Toronto\u2019s most laid back wine enthusiasts soak up the summer enjoying dozens of ros\u00e9s paired with Chef Mark McEwan\u2019s iconic signature dishes from the likes of ONE Restaurant, Bymark, North 44, Diwan and Fabbrica. And for every ticket sold,\u00a0$2.50<\/strong>\u00a0will provide a meal for a child through\u00a0Feeding Canadian Kids\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Carefully curated signature dishes by Chef Mark McEwan. Taking cues from last year\u2019s successful inaugural event, the food concept will be set up more like food stations so you can come and go as you please and eat as much as your heart desires.<\/p>\n The festival\u2019s featured ros\u00e9 wines include\u00a0Rros\u00e9, Hogwash<\/strong>\u00a0(a pleasant, lightly fruity, easy drinking ros\u00e9),\u00a0\u00a0XOXO<\/strong>\u00a0(a light bodied refreshing ros\u00e9 with a touch of spice)\u00a0and\u00a0Thirty Bench<\/strong>\u00a0(a medium bodied, dry ros\u00e9 wine) by\u00a0Peller Estates\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Moet & Chandon\u00a0Ros\u00e9 Champagne\u00a0<\/strong>among other premium wines, beers and cocktails.<\/p>\n Every guest will receive a break-free wine glass for outdoor enjoyment and the first 1000 guests will receive a complimentary pink picnic blanket. Festival-goers will enjoy premium vendors and activations including bocce ball in the\u00a0Games Garden,\u00a0make-up touch-ups with\u00a0Lanc\u00f4me, mini-manicures at the\u00a0nail bar, strolling fashion shows, a\u00a0Peller Estates Flower Wall & Flower Crown station,\u00a0and ros\u00e9 flavoured gummies at the sweet- treat mobile cart.
